"Nick and the Glimmung" is the only children's science fiction novel written by Philip K. Dick. It is set on "Plowman's Planet", in the same continuity as his adult SF novel, Galactic Pot-Healer. Nick, his family, and cat Horace leave Earth in 1992, because pet ownership has been criminalized on that world.
