CITYSPEAK Paul M. Sammon, who wrote Future Noir: The Making of Blade Runner, notes that the first Blade Runner fanzine, called "CITYSPEAK," debuted in December 1982 and was published by Sara Campbell, who hailed from Madison, Wisconsin. Unfortunately, Campbell died in 1985 after she'd published only three issues.
This is a MUST for Blade Runner fans. It contains the first published fan-fiction short story, poem, interview, editorial, and dialog between fans, and more! And keep in mind...these folks saw it in the theater...NOT ON TAPE!!! These are the genuine pioneer die-hard BR fans!
The section is dedicated to the memory of Sara Campbell, CITYSPEAK's publisher and editor.
Special thanks to Andy Pokon for providing this wonderful find to KippleZone. This is truly an important piece of Blade Runner history.
