There's a website called Montreal 2020. It is the home of what people call a PBEMRPG (play by e-mail role playing game). It's relevance in here is that it is set in the gritty dark world of Blade Runner. The players get to take on the role of members of the Montreal Rep Detect unit in the year 2020. How it works: The whole thing works on the same principle as a mailing list, or yahoo group. Each player creates a character, and plays as him/her. They write something (character development, finding evidence or whatever they feel like having their character do), send it trough the site, and all will receive it in their e-mails. In turn, the others will play off that posting their actions, reactions or other stuff they might come up with, furthering the storyline.
